This page is the regulatory-disclosure reference for the radio transmitter module contained in the Terrestream Indoor Air Quality Sensor (the “ Device ”). It carries the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Part 15 and Canada Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) ICES-003 / RSS compliance statements that accompany the Device.

Transmitter module identification

The Device contains the following certified radio transmitter module. The identifications below match those carried on the physical chassis and on the retail packaging.

Host-device compliance follows the FCC Part 15 Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) pathway. FCC Part 15 Class B SDoC testing for the Device was performed by E3C and passed. The FCC ID listed below is the contained certified radio transmitter module ID, not an invented host-device FCC ID.

Operating conditions (FCC Part 15 / ISED RSS-Gen)

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

FCC Class B / ISED ICES-003 Class B notice

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules, and meets all requirements of the Canadian ICES-003 Class B specifications. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

This equipment complies with FCC and ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body.
