Aggregate-Data Recipient Categories and Named Licensees
Effective June 1, 2026 · Version 1.0 · Operational reference; the Privacy Policy controls.
This page is the recipient-category and named-recipient list referenced by §P6.3 of the Privacy Policy. It identifies (a) the categories of third-party recipients to which Aerodyne may license or disclose Aggregate Data or Deidentified Data (as those terms are defined in the Privacy Policy), and (b) the specific named recipients, if any, currently receiving such data under §P6.3(f). The Privacy Policy controls; this page is operational reference material only.
What this page does and does not cover
This page concerns Aggregate Data and Deidentified Data only — that is, data that has been processed in accordance with §P6.2 so that it no longer identifies, and cannot reasonably be linked to, any individual or household. It does not cover any sharing of Personal Information; Personal Information sharing is governed by §P5, and Aerodyne does not sell Personal Information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (§P5.1).
Permitted recipient categories under §P6.3(f)
Per §P6.3(f), Aerodyne may license or disclose Aggregate Data and Deidentified Data to recipients in the following categories:
- Building-systems — HVAC manufacturers, building-automation vendors, indoor-air-quality control-system providers, and similar industrial recipients that use aggregate environmental data to design, calibrate, or improve building systems.
- Urban-planning — municipal, regional, and national planning bodies, city-services agencies, and the consulting firms that support them, that use aggregate environmental data for public-policy, zoning, emergency-preparedness, or urban-resilience planning.
- Research — universities, research institutions, public-health research bodies, and peer-reviewed scientific publications that use aggregate environmental data for academic and scientific research.
- Standards-setting — standards bodies (such as ANSI/ASHRAE, ISO, RESET, WELL/IWBI, and analogous organizations) that use aggregate environmental data to develop or revise indoor-air-quality and building-performance standards.
Excluded data and excluded settings
The following are excluded from §P6.3(f) licensing and disclosure, as set out in the Privacy Policy:
Health-adjacent inferences (Washington MHMDA)
Health-adjacent inferences (mold-risk indicators, respiratory-irritant indicators, and similar outputs) derived from a Washington-resident’s Personal Information are excluded from §P6.3(f) consistent with the no-sale commitment in §P2.2 under the Washington My Health My Data Act.
Excluded deployment settings
Aggregate Data derived from Devices deployed in any of the following settings is excluded from §P6.3(f) unless separately authorized in writing by the account holder:
- educational or daycare settings;
- healthcare or patient-care settings;
- employee-only areas of a workplace;
- tenant dwelling units in a multi-unit residential building;
- real-estate showings of an occupied home.
Currently named recipients
The following table identifies the specific third-party recipients, if any, currently receiving Aggregate Data or Deidentified Data under §P6.3(f).
| Recipient | Category | Purpose | Effective date |
|---|---|---|---|
| No named recipients at this time. | |||
Aerodyne’s license to create, use, license, and sell Aggregate Data and Deidentified Data (per §P6.3 and T&C §18.2) is broader than the recipient categories identified above; that license includes internal product improvement, AI model training under §P6.4, academic publication, marketing statistics, and similar internal and publication uses that do not involve third-party licensing or disclosure under §P6.3(f). This page lists only third-party recipients under §P6.3(f).
Updates
Aerodyne updates the named-recipients table when a specific recipient is added or removed. The recipient categories in § Permitted recipient categories mirror §P6.3(f) and may be modified only by a corresponding amendment to the Privacy Policy under T&C §20.5.
