Use reset when starting over. Factory reset clears saved Wi-Fi, settings, claim, and account-linking information from the device.
Use reset when changing ownership. A factory reset is the required step before someone else pairs the device.
Pair again after reset. A reset device needs to go through Bluetooth pairing, Wi-Fi setup, and claiming again.
Before transfer. If you are selling, gifting, or recycling the sensor, factory reset it first.
